Los Angeles is scheduled to host the Jazz on March 23, 2007 at the Staples Center in the fourth and final contest of the campaign between the squads. LA plays the finale of a three-game road trip against the Jazz. Tim Thomas scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Clippers past the Houston Rockets, 98-93, on Saturday at the Toyota Center. Thomas was joined by five other Clippers with double figures in the win over Houston, while Cuttino Mobley scored 18 points for LA, which snapped a six- game losing streak. Elton Brand scored 16 points and grabbed seven boards, and Chris Kaman netted 15 points and pulled down 11 boards. The Clippers, who lost to Dallas in the opener of the current swing, are a dismal 2-9 on the road this season. After Tuesday's contest, they return home to host Boston, Sacramento and New York during a three-game homestand at the Staples Center. LA is 7-3 when it scores more than 100 points this season. The Clippers are 1-11 when their opponent reaches the century mark. Brand has scored in double-digits in 16 straight games. He leads the team in scoring (18.9 ppg) and rebounding (9.3 rpg). The Duke product has collected 12 double-doubles this season.
