Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The 6-foot-11, 240-pounder will be entering his 13th season in the NBA. Last year with New Jersey, Battie saw action in only 15 games and posted averages of 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds. Over 772 career games, including 418 starts, Battie is averaging 6.4 points and 5.3 boards with Denver, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando and the Nets.
